A lot can change in the transition from runway to real life. As we approach fall 2018, it’s interesting to look back on last year’s fashion shows to see how well they set the tone for our current season.
One of the biggest trends to take away from the Fall/Winter 2018–19 fashion shows was big, bold jewelry of all sorts. You had statement necklaces, colossally sized earrings, and super-wide bangle bracelets, just to name a few.
When it comes to fall and winter sales, look for more of the same. Think big and bold, but remember to include pared-down options for those customers who don’t treat every day like a fashion runway.
I’d suggest chunky gold chains in varying lengths, wide bangle and cuff bracelets that can be stacked or worn alone, and hoop earrings that are big on aesthetics if not circumference. For rings, opt for flat bands with a generous width and chunky gemstone settings if possible. Plain gold is a big winner, too.
Here are some of the best examples of looks to try in your showcases this season.
