Two-Tone Metals

Gold jewelry is a mainstay and a retail store must at any given time, though it’s currently as popular and in demand as ever. The most recent runway shows have demonstrated that white metals are on the rise, too, particularly in the form of chunky silver trinkets.

But when two metals combine, that contrasting style is certainly something to clamor for. Two-tone jewelry has long been a focus of shopper’s interests, but its look has evolved from the sharply contrasting looks of the 80’s to the soft, delicately-differing pieces we’re seeing today. Rather than an even split of yellow gold and white—which is still popularly observed—we’re noticing rose gold-kissed jewels, where graceful touches of the pink metal add warmth to white gold or sterling silver pieces and slender stripes of yellow gold pair up alongside platinum, for example.

These styles, as demonstrated by a selection of exhibitors from JCK Las Vegas and Luxury, beautifully make the argument that you don’t need to choose just one type of metal for that special piece. Whether it’s a two-tone Engagement ring, a high-end braceletor a pretty price point style, these are the pieces to source at the show.
