Dazzling things await at JCK Las Vegas
If you know anything about JCK Las Vegas, then you’re familiar with one of the biggest changes coming to the show in 2019—its location. After nearly a decade at Mandalay Bay, JCK is returning to its previous home at the newly renovated Sands Expo and The Venetian, located onsite at the glorious Venetian hotel in Las Vegas. It’s going to be one epic event!
But the big move isn’t the only thing that’s new and exciting this year. JCK is going all in to give its guests a unique experience, whether it’s their first visit or their fifteenth.
A new event space calls for a new design, and JCK will deliver a more compact show floor that’s easier to navigate than ever before. Exhibitor neighborhoods will once again be conveniently organized by product type. Attendees will have booth-to-booth GPS navigation via the JCK Mobile app to help them find their way around the show floor. Scannable QR codes will make it easy for retailers to scan and store exhibitor information for reference at any time. That means you can forget about taking notes on your iPad (or with pen and paper). Digital and in-person support will also be available through JCK’s Ask Bling service.
GPS navigation will also come in handy for visitors in search of the newest neighborhoods at JCK. These include a world of gemstones, jewels from the Bel Paese, the latest in technology, and bare necessities for retailers. JCK is proud to offer its Global Gemstones Neighborhood this year, featuring over 175 names in gemstones, all of which are members of Fine Gems and the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA). Many exhibitors in this pavilion have showcased their dreamy gems at JCK before; this year they’ll be joined by international gemstone dealers brand new to the show.
More than 75 brands from Italy will be on hand at Bella Italia, the new Italian neighborhood at JCK. Other newcomers on hand to answer our industry’s evolving demands are Lab-Grown Diamonds; Security, in partnership with Jewelers Security Alliance (JSA); Retail Innovation; and Essentials & Technology.
Wondering how to keep track of all the new offerings? JCK has that covered, too. Discovering New @ JCK, the all-new digital lookbook for JCK Las Vegas, will be available free to attendees. It highlights all new products and designs debuting at the show. QR codes will make it easy to get information (and plan visits to exhibitor booths) with a quick scan using your smart device. Registered attendees will receive an email with a link to the lookbook when they retrieve their badges. You can also access the book at the JCK Match booth on Level 2 of the show.
In addition to aisles of mesmerizing products and services on display, JCK will host a number of relevant and compelling events. You won’t want to miss the annual JCK Talks sessions, an educational series brimful of information on timely industry topics. This year’s roster will include Trends; Technology in Retail; Retailer Roundtables; Today’s Consumer; and a special Social Media Boot Camp powered by The Smithee Group. In addition, the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute (AWCI) will host 10 educational sessions in various aspects of watchmaking and horology. It’s a must for the luxury watch industry.
You’ll also want to grab your business cards (or perhaps your dancing shoes) and check out JCK’s collection of inspiring networking opportunities. Among the highlights is JCK’s TAO Takeover, an unforgettable experience at the famous nightclub, sponsored by Effy.
Finally, JCK has updated its floor plan to include more bench seating and digital signage throughout the show, ensuring a comfortable, stress-free experience for all.
