Make this the year of new things
It’s natural for a new year to feel like a fresh start. That’s why resolutions abound. (It’s also why your gym is unusually crowded.) But you don’t need specific resolutions to put a little extra pep in your step, especially when it comes to your day-to-day life in the store.
The holidays have likely left your inventory with some holes to fill. While it’s important to restock what you sold successfully, try to branch out and venture beyond your basics. Avoid anything too out there (no flash-in-the-pan trends destined for the clearance case), but something as simple as taking on a new designer could make a big difference in your store’s sales and customer base.
Adding a new designer creates a bevy of opportunities for your store, as well as your marketing and social media channels. Consider hosting a trunk show with a new designer to debut their creations and have some facetime with your clients. Create a social media campaign featuring a sampling of the new brand’s jewelry, tempting followers to learn more and visit your store or website. Design an email campaign in the style of an invitation, welcoming guests to come and see what you have in store.
Changes for the new year don’t have to be revolutionary to make an impact. Here, you’ll find an assortment of styles available from some of our Luxury by JCK exhibitors. Consider introducing them to your roster. It’s time to get excited about the possibilities 2020 has in store. Happy New Year!
