How did you get your start in the jewelry industry?
I got extremely lucky. I went to college to play field hockey and took an open elective for jewelry/metalsmithing. The professor said I was good and to take a second course. I did, ended up majoring in it and minoring in small business. I wrote my business plan then, knowing I eventually wanted a store, but first knew I needed more education. I looked for the best education and headed to GIA where I became a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist. GIA and working in NY’s diamond district proved to be a priceless education!!

My go to source of inspiration is looking at an architectural magazine or pictures I’ve taken from my latest journeys.
How do you get through a creative rut?

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy day?
