For Summer edition we wanted to dish with someone on all things summer style and NYC, which Gabrielle was happy to oblige. Her answers for where to eat in in Manhattan have our mouths watering and her perfect summer style (statement earrings and bare shoulders) is, well, music to our ears. Enjoy the interview!

LL: What did you love at LUXURY Las Vegas?
GH: I was a kid in a candy store at LUXURY Las Vegas. Being in bridal, I’ve obviously seen diamonds and fine jewelry before, but being completely surrounded by gorgeous gems was an absolute dream. And the fact that I got to play dress up with so many pieces of exquisite jewelry? Let’s just say my future husband is in trouble because after trying on countless diamond rings, my expectations are very, very high.
LL: What are you hoping to see at LUXURY Privé?
GH: Give me jewels and I’m a happy girl, so I can’t wait to see what’s in store at LUXURY Privé. If it’s anything like LUXURY Las Vegas, I know I’ll fall in love several times over the course of the show.
LL: What jewelry are you wearing this summer?
GH: With so many off-the-shoulder dresses and tops in season this summer, there’s nothing I love more than a bare clavicle and a fabulous statement earring. Some women love shoes, I love costume earrings, especially in the summer.
LL: Who/what are your favorite Instagram accounts?
GH: For pretty inspiration, Style Me Pretty (@stylemepretty) and SMPLiving (@smpliving), of course! For wanderlust, my favorite photographer Gray Malin (@graymalin). For a daily dose of “Aw,” PupFlix (@pupflix). For fashion, Loving Haute Couture (@lovinghautecouture). For all things jewelry, JCK Events (@jckevents).
LL: What are your favorite places in NYC to: a) eat b) grab a drink c) shop and d) unwind
GH: New York has SO much to offer it seems unfair to list just a few! But, if I must…
A) Jack’s Wife Freda in Soho has delicious Mediterranean fare that won’t break the bank. If I want to treat myself, Quality Meats in Midtown has the best steaks and delicious parmesan waffle fries. I’m also always in the mood for Italian, and Rosemary’s in the West Village will always satisfy that craving.
B) In the summer, you have to take advantage of the gorgeous weather, so I love anywhere with outdoor seating. Champagne Charlie’s at the High Line Hotel is always a great spot to relax with a glass of bubbly. I also love the vibe at the NOMO SOHO. It’s incredibly glamorous, but not at all fussy.
C) Soho can get a little crowded with tourists (especially on Broadway), but the side streets offer lots of hidden gem boutiques full of fun trinkets and treasures.
D) There’s nothing I love to do more than put on a good pair of shoes (an absolute must) and wander aimlessly around the city. Walking helps me unwind, and exploring the city, stumbling upon new spots reminds me just how lucky I am to live here.
